Ktown Connects

w/Bill Lawrence

Ktown Connects Season 6 Episode 31

Today we sit down with local radio icon and legendary “nice guy” Bill Lawrence!

Bill spent over 30 years in radio, with most of those years as the morning voice on Kenosha’s own WLIP. Bill talks about how he fell in love with the Chicago Cubs and radio as a kid growing up in Racine County, his first starts and stumbles in radio, and looks back on his on-air feud with former co-worker Lenny Palmer!

Currently, Bill is semi-retired, but trying to stay active in the community, if you would like to reach him, drop him a line at bhilly61@gmail.com

This episode was recorded on Monday, November 3rd at the A+ Mobility Recording Studio – home of Ktown Connects!
